Hi! My name is Cherie, welcome to this page that I have created to document our family travels, and hope our itineraries and budget strategies will help you.

    I have loved traveling for a long time, when all I had with me was a flip phone, a digital camera, and my ipod shuffle. I went to internet cafes to send an email home, and somehow found my way back to my hotel without wifi (or I just got lost a lot).The travel world has evolved a lot since then, and so have I. My favorite adventures were hiking adventures: sometimes day hikes, sometimes multi-day, sometimes staying in tents, sometimes huts, sometime with friends or groups, and sometimes solo.

    When I became a mom, I wondered if I would have to put my passion on hold for 18 years because taking kids on trips? that’s crazy, and way too expensive. But also, could I stop traveling for 18 years?! Nah. So I learned the credit card points world, and now my kids think traveling around the world and staying at nice places is the norm. I am a travel junkie, a Disney Adult, a credit card points enthusiast, I love making memories with my little family, and my kids are enjoying the ride. They have been to 9 countries so far, and I’ve only almost lost my mind a dozen times (so basically, a win!). Shout out to my husband for always being down.
